14?!? <sigh> Reality is setting in that our girl is quickly growing up. I love that the older she gets, the more we get to spend time hanging out and enjoying girly things together..
Erik was in Minneapolis for a week over Kaylor’s actually birth date, so we facetimed to have him celebrate w/ us.. Starbucks & cake.. pretty sure that is pure happiness to this 14 year old girl;
Her request for a birthday present this year… A ukulele! She’s already starting to learn some songs on it too. Bonus for us, it feels tropical around the house when she’s playing it 😛
Ashlyn wrote on a gift bag for her, “Happy birthday to a special sister Kaylor”
Kaylor’s sweet friends left a gift on our front door for her… I peeked inside and it was lots of sweet goodies, so I stuck the bags in the fridge until she got back home; Family parties are always fun.. I think Rowen was so excited that he gave a special birthday dance; Erik had WAY too much playing w/ one of her gifts… A selfie stick!Sweet picture of Grandma & Kaylor.. Happy 14th birthday, Kaylor! We continue to be so proud of you, and love watching your growth in Christ, involvement w/ our church, your love for playing volleyball, how you laugh & smile all the time, and your true silliness. We love you!
