This girl LOVES pink. I mean, really loves pink. When we first moved into this home, she quickly let us know that she would NOT like her new room until it was pink. We used the color, Pink Wink by Valspar.. I was looking fora really soft pink that wasn’t too pink or too peach.. This color turned out perfectly for what I had in mind. She’s still in her convertible crib as a toddler bed, and still has plenty of room to fit comfortably. The sliding pocket door in her room goes to the girls’ shared bathroom… Kaylor’s room has a larger closet, or else she would have gotten this room w/ the adjoining bath door 🙂
We did a mini photo shoot in her room.. Fairy wings & all!
On her dresser sits a flower piggy bank that I made when pregnant w/ her at a pottery place, and a mirror from my mom that used to be Kaylor’s. The hanging pom-poms are from her 4th birthday party, and the picture of her is around 6 months old..
I painted the wood letters white w/ polka dots.. Again during my pregnancy w/ her. The door hanger w/ flowers was from T.J. Maxx.
I found this mirror at Goodwill for $1! It was perfect for hanging at her height level for playing dress up;
This is where her dress up clothes are hung.. The flower hooks are from Hobby Lobby. (gotta love 1/2 off!)
These wall stickers I found were from the Dollar Tree.. They fit perfectly;
On the bookshelf, the yarn doll was made my Grandma Fofo, the glass jar of folded washcloths was a baby shower gift, the jewelry box from Uncle Brodie, and the vase of flowers from Mamaw.. Ashlyn loves anything girly, and these items are so special to her.
Cross from Hobby Lobby;
And there you have it… A pink room fit for our princess 🙂
