Being a mom is…
- seeing a huge mess of dry moss & tiny styrofoam balls all over your hardwood floors, because your 2 & 3 year old decided to have a “snowball fight”…
- hearing whispers and knowing their is mischief being planned
- saving the crust from your daughter’s lunch from her plate, because she needs to feed the birds outside
- opening your son’s pajamas to find noodles, string cheese, and crumbs after lunchtime because “it just happened to get there” (says your 3yo little girl)
- listening to squeals of laughter as they race through the house on their riding toys
- finding a plastic frog in the fridge because “he needs to stay cold”
- having a bouncy ball roll out of the laundry basket as you fold laundry
All of which has happened today 🙂
