  • Welcome!…

    to “A Step Inside”… our personal family blog, documenting the craziness of our every day life.. Sit back, enjoy, laugh, and share in the road we travel..

    I'm Bridget.. A SAHM (stay at home mom), mother of 3, and a follower of Christ. I'm also a photographer, and passionate about life.. I hope to share that w/ you too! Life isn't always perfect, but it's perfectly created in His plan. I'm beyond thankful for God's grace and His many blessings!

Favorite Things…

Products in life to simplify your daily routines?  Count me in!  I thought I would share a few of my favorites;

These rechargeable batteries are one of the best brands I’ve found.  W/ so many kid’s toys that require them, rechargeable is the way to go.  I also use them w/ my photography equipment.

I love this thing… It saves so much time not having to write out our return address when mailing things;

Of all the curling irons & heating hair tools I’ve owned, by far Hot Tools is my go to;

I haven’t always worn liquid foundation, but since finding one that doesn’t feel like it’s caked on, and using this nifty sponge to apply it, I do quite often.  I love the smooth & light feel that this sponge gives;

I personally love motivation when I hit the gym.. Knowing my calories burned, number of steps for the day, etc. is great for me.  This little guy is fun.  Clip it onto your pants or bra, and it tracks for you.  It’s also able to sync the Fitbit site to store your information & data;
W/ our kids, safety is always a must.  Sometimes you can’t always hide/cover cords that are plugged in behind furniture, so these are wonderful to keep little hands out;

I’m a techie junkie… I love all things related to technology… Especially my iPad.  This has been the best case & keyboard I’ve owned for mine;

We LOVE our electric kettle… The kids eat oatmeal a lot for breakfast, and this quickly heats up the water, w/out having to pull out a pan, etc. etc.  My husband also heats up water to pour into his coffee press.

I discovered this Bible last year, and my only regret is that I wish I had found it sooner.  It is an amazing tool in learning the word & scripture, and really understanding the meaning and history.  There are study notes to align w/ each passage;

Coconut oil has SO many uses… We use ours mostly for cooking, and on the kids’ dry skin;

Do you have household favorites?  I’d love to hear about them! 🙂
