My little guy turned 4 months old last week.. Rowen is such a sweet baby boy.. Ah, I just love him to pieces! He’s smiling tons, and becoming quite vocal. Looooooves watching his crazy sisters, and all of their silliness. Of course they also get a kick out of watching his reaction of big, gummy smiles in return. Rowen’s still growing right along, and sitting up really well on our laps now, w/ a nice strong neck, and head. Also grabbing toys, and has found his hands too! His hair seems to be lightening up, so we’re curious if he will turn into a blondie like his sisters. We started “sleep training” last week. I use that term loosely because I’m not so sure it’s technically sleep training, but that’s what I call it.. lol Trying to do more nap times in his crib as opposed to the bouncy seat and bassinet. It’s going pretty well. He doesn’t nap for more than maybe 30-45mins in there, but it’s a start! I love having the Snuza-Go monitor on him, because it really does help w/ having to disturb him every few minutes by going into his room to check on him. I keep the baby monitor w/ me all throughout the house, and I can easily hear if the breathing monitor were to go off.
At Rowen’s 4 month check up last week, the pediatrician was happy to see him healthy and growing. His weight was 13lbs 14oz and 24.5 inches. (27th percentile and 32nd percentile) I love seeing how all three kiddos compare in sizes at each age too. Kaylor was 13lbs 4oz & 25in, and Ashlyn (I believe this was when she started to become a peanut..lol) was 11lbs 6oz and 23.25in. All in all, it was a great check up, which is music to our ears.
