So I have to ask.. w/ all the new shows out and starting, has anyone else been as thrilled as I have?! I’m not one to sit & watch tv all night (although, sometimes I’d like to!) but I do enjoy dvr’ing all my faves, and watching them at a later time. (and when I can skip through commercials!) So I’ve been watching the new 90210 since it premièred. I’m hooked! I know it’s another show about the drama of High Schoolers, etc., but I can’t stop watching.. lol.. Anyone else wanna fess up? 😛 And there is the ones that I KNOW you guys are watching along w/ me… Grey’s Anatomy (still sitting on my DVR just begging to be watched), Brothers & Sisters, etc. .. Tonight, I WILL be planted ready for that one to start! Gotta love tv drama! Yay! =)
Watching a recorded episode of Oprah this week, it was all about dogs.. Everything from stunt dogs, dogs w/ crazy talents (counting! lol), dogs needing adoptions etc. One thing that broke my heart, was hearing about these puppy mills.. Apparently after another segment on a show, there have been many raided and forced to shut down.. The stories of what happens to these poor dogs, was so, so sad.. It’s sickening that while there are so many people out there who love animals & pets, there are just as many cruel people, that don’t think twice about torturing an innocent dog, cat, etc. Scroll down my blog and on the left hand side, you can click on a link to petition against this.. Together we can help fight this sad situation!
Weekend is coming to a close… I had a maternity/family session on Friday night and a wedding on Saturday in Champaign.. Thanks, Mir, for all your help! I was definitely beat by the time I got home late last night.. Not moving quite as fast as I was 5 months ago… This baby sure better be holding on in there, for the crazy go-go-go rides! hehe.. . Today we hung out w/ the in-laws and had a late lunch.. Our sermon this morning at church was about celebrating the Sabbath. Really makes you stop and think about the concept of working your rear off 6 days a week, and dedicating the 7th day to the Lord. For Erik & I this had a huge impact on our mindset. We are always trying to utilize every spare moment we’ve got (which are few & in between)… So to force ourselves to stop and relax seems crazy! However, we are dedicated to living our lives as better Christians. We are by no means perfect, but we are constantly learning and growing in our faith. Kaylor was thrilled this morning, w/ taking Communion for the first time in her class!
