I think this is Monday?.. lol.. It’s funny how you loose all track of the date & day when you’re gone for a few days.. Whew.. Well, we are home, safe & sound.. vacations are nice, but it’s VERY nice back in the comfort of home & in your own bed..
Let’s see if I can pick up where I left off… we had internet service at our hotel, but the connection tapered off on us the last couple of days..
Thursday we headed to Disney Hollywood Studios (formerly MGM Studios).. I think Kaylor had the most fun at this park.. Rides are a new adventure to her, so going on the “Rock n’ Roller Coaster” really gave her a taste of ride excitement.. She told me if you just hold your stomach REALLY tight, then it doesn’t make it feel all weird. She rode (w/ daddy of course) all kinds of rides there, and I think she was surprised by how much she enjoyed the “Lights, Motors, Action!” stunt show.. It was really neat w/ the movie like chases and action scenes unfolding before the audience.. Friday we decided to hang out at the hotel.. We looked around the grounds, played at the pool for a bit and got some sunning in… Saturday we headed to Islands of Adventure which is a 1 of 2 addition to Universal Studios. We met up w/ our friends Chad, Nikki, & Gabe while there and got to hang out w/ them for the day.. Chad rode all of the rides w/ Kaylor & Erik and Nikki, Gabe (18 months) and I checked out other entertainment of the park.. She is due in October, so there was no thrill rides for us! haha.. It was fun getting to see them and hang out.. Thanks guys, for meeting us on a hot, June Orlando theme park day! Yesterday was our last park day and we were debating between Epcot & Universal Studios.. We decided that Universal would probably be the most fun for Kaylor, so that’s where we headed.. I don’t think it was anything less for her!.. She got to meet & greet more characters & ended up w/ a total of 16 or 17 signatures.. She had a blast doing that and having her picture taken w/ them.. We ended the day having dinner at the well known Hard Rock Cafe.. Good food, for sure..
Back home after traveling most of today… our connection in Atlanta went smoothly and even got us home 15 mins. early.. No complaints there! I think that wraps our trip up… We really had a good time, and it was a nice “closing” so to speak of our family of three vacations.. Kaylor thinks it’s kind of funny that the new baby’s “first trip” was to Disney and he/she didn’t even know it! I’m pretty sure she’ll be glad to fill the little one in on it all someday though..
I’m pooped and heading to bed VERY early tonight… it’s back to work tomorrow and I have a session tomorrow night.. Nite!
