  • Welcome!…

to “A Step Inside”… our personal family blog, documenting the craziness of our every day life.. Sit back, enjoy, laugh, and share in the road we travel..

I'm Bridget.. A SAHM (stay at home mom), wife, mother of 3, and a follower of Christ. I'm also a photographer, and passionate about life.. I hope to share that w/ you too! Life isn't always perfect, but it's perfectly created in His plan. I'm beyond thankful for God's grace and His many blessings!

Wednesday, June 25th..

Kaylor & I made it to Orlando safely! Our flight was shorter than expected (2 hours 5 mins.).. She was a bit apprehensive prior to take off…so bad that she had horrible stomach cramps and we had to buy some anti-nausea/flu medicine.. Once we were in the air though, she was fine.. even made a friend on the plane..

Day one of Disney World and we survived! Today we went to Magic Kingdom… There is definitely something magical about that you’re riding the monorail up to the entrance and the castle gets larger & larger in view.. It’s so beautiful! Very first thing we did was hop on the train and rode to Toon Town.. We hopped off, and went into Mickey’s house, where we met Mickey & Minnie Mouse… Kaylor’s smile was huge as she danced w/ them and shared plenty of hugs… (pics to come)… Definitely a great start to our day… We ventured on and I was SO excited to ride the Dumbo elephants w/ Kaylor while Erik waited for us..he was going to snap a picture… Things didn’t quite go as planned.. I had a “spell” and found myself quickly losing hearing, vision and broke into a sweat & a nervous shaking.. I kept telling Kaylor that I was going to pass out.. Needless to say we had to walk clear back out of the line we’d been waiting in to skip it.. Not sure if it was a combination of the heat & standing… oye.. I told Kaylor that I was so sorry we didn’t get to ride and she innocently looks up at me and says “Mommy, it’s okay.. I wasn’t really the one who wanted to ride it so bad”.. haha! Bless her heart.. After lots of water and resting for a bit, everything was fine… We did things like The Haunted Mansion, watched the Monsters Inc. show, and had lunch.. Kaylor & Erik went on a couple of other rides that mommies to be can’t go on… But that was okay by me.. gave me a few moments to rest.. Kaylor’s big find of the day was a High School Musical cheerleading outfit, complete w/ pom-poms, for $16.95! It was priced however at $49.99 and for some reason rang up discounted.. whoo hooo! Well that’s our day in a nutshell.. We had a great time, and tomorrow will be heading for Disney’s Hollywood Studios..
