Happy Easter!.. I was really looking forward to the Easter service this year at our church… We have grown so much in this last year in our relationship w/ our heavenly Father and His Son, that I knew this would be a very special day… I’m happy to say that my hunch was right. Today’s sermon was amazing, and you could feel the faith just pouring from every ones’ hearts.. This was also the first year that my mom came along w/ us, which was special too.. In Kaylor’s Sunday school class, they made a “Resurrection egg”.. In this egg, they put a small stick, piece of cloth, a stone, and a star.. Each item represented a part of Jesus’ death and rising.. It melted my heart to hear her describe exactly what each meant.. I’m proud to be a Christian, and I couldn’t be more proud to see my daughter learning about Christ as well.. While we aren’t perfect, it’s moments like today to keep us humble and thankful for His grace and the sacrifice that He suffered for each & every one of us..
Other weekend happenings.. Friday evening we had fun bowling & celebrating a friend’s birthday.. Hope you had a great time James! We hadn’t been bowling in a couple of years, so while a little rusty, we still had fun.. Saturday morning I had a session w/ such a great family.. They arrived in tow with Lane, now 2, and the addition of their twin girls.. It was a pleasure to see them again and take their portraits.. I’m almost finished proofing the pics, so I’ll share a couple tomorrow.. Thanks you guys, for being such great sports & fantastic clients =)
