First off… wow… what a whirlwind of a week(end)! It’s amazing how much time, planning, organizing, more planning, etc. etc. goes into such an event. Of course, it’s all worth it when you hear from your family & friends that they had a great time! I just can’t believe we’ve had the wedding… Erik & I keep agreeing that we definitely need to see the pictures & view the video, just to confirm that we were definitely there.. haha.. Everything just seems so surreal.. It will take some getting used to referring to Erik as my husband… wonder how many times fiancé will slip first.. lol Just wanted to say a HUGE thanks to all of our wonderful family & friends… I know we’ve said it many, many times, but we are so very blessed to know so many incredible people… We knew this throughout (and of course before as well) the entire wedding, but when the last dance of the night was played and everyone parted, and formed a circle around Erik & I, we were absolutely blown away.. While there were so many people there, it still felt as if we were just surrounded in a supportive ring around us in our own circle of love… That is what I will forever call that moment.. “the circle of love”.. What an incredible sight to see, from the inside looking out… truly amazing..
We’re most definitely enjoying our stay so far here in Montego Bay, Jamaica. This hotel is unbelieveable… The pictures can’t even do this place justice..The IberoStar Rose Hall is an immaculate and the staff is friendly as can be. You know you’re officially on vacation when you’re standing at the front desk checking in and they bring you a welcome drink.. Ya mon! hehe.. Today Erik & I hung around the lobby bar for a bit while awaiting for our room.. Then we decided to take it easy and hang out at the infinity pool.. What a view! I talked w/ my mom today to check on her & Kaylor and I’m pretty sure she said something along the lines of “you suck” when she asked what we were up to, and I told her that we were sitting in the wet bar in the pool drinking whatever fruity foo-foo rum drink we could.. lol Don’t worry mom, we don’t “suck” we’re just broke! Haha.. Anyway, my husband & I are going to relax for a bit more.. the sun & water wore us out today! Although I’m sure the 3:30am wake up call in Chicago this morning had something to do w/ that as well… We shall see what Tuesday holds! =)
