  • Welcome!…

to “A Step Inside”… our personal family blog, documenting the craziness of our every day life.. Sit back, enjoy, laugh, and share in the road we travel..

I'm Bridget.. A SAHM (stay at home mom), mother of 3, and a follower of Christ. I'm also a photographer, and passionate about life.. I hope to share that w/ you too! Life isn't always perfect, but it's perfectly created in His plan. I'm beyond thankful for God's grace and His many blessings!

Wednesday, September 12th…

Only 9 more days!… As little girls and something that we constantly dream & think about while growing up, it still is very surreal when you’re big day comes.. Ours is quickly approaching and I *think* we’re almost there… Programs are printing as I type, hence the chance I get to sneak in some computer time… Projects for the wedding have been keeping me super busy to say the least! I’ve been enjoying it though.. heck this is the only time I’ll be doing this, right? =)

Another quick wedding related piece of info… I believe we’re taking the laptop w/ us. I would like to try and document the trip through my blog, so I’ll keep up w/ everything we did while there.. okay maybe not EVERYthing will be documented.. haha.. But I want to use the blog later for journaling in our scrapbook.. Point is, while we’re gone, check back for updates =)

Kaylor… Miss Kaylor.. We have been sooo, so very proud of her these last couple of weeks. In first grade they have a spelling pre-test every Monday of new words, then study from it all week, in hopes of passing the spelling test on Friday. For the last 2 weeks, she has gotten every single one of the pre-test words right, therefore qualifying for the “super speller words” which are much more difficult for them. On Friday she brought home a +10 out of 10 spelling test AND all 4 super speller words correct! We are so stinkin proud of her! To celebrate her hard work, we went for icecream one night this week (BEFORE dinner, as she will proudly boast) and daddy took her to McDonald’s one night too.. I’m so proud of my toothless 6 year old!

Our new baby girls are growing like weeds! They are so funny to watch, and have quickly become part of our family.. Kaylor just loves them to pieces.. They have so much fun w/ each other, I’m not sure it would have been fair to get just one or the other 😉 It’s funny how different their personalities are though.. JJ is very fiesty, energetic and extremely orery. Where as Fiona is more prissy, and dainty. JJ is constantly antagonizing her…

Whelp, back to the grind…
