I'm Bridget.. A SAHM (stay at home mom), wife, mother of 3, and a follower of Christ. I'm also a photographer, and passionate about life.. I hope to share that w/ you too! Life isn't always perfect, but it's perfectly created in His plan. I'm beyond thankful for God's grace and His many blessings!

Wednesday, July 25th…

This is going to be a big update… (you’ve been warned! lol)..

I just realized something as I look above at what I typed.. Not that I haven’t known this, but I misuse pronunciation.. Why? No idea! Haha.. Guess it’s just been a style that I feel necessary. Hmm… I’ll have to think about that one.. I know, I know, you’re thinking, “She’s odd.. How is she just now realizing that she types incorrectly?… duh!”… But to the contrary I DO know, I’m just not sure why! Confused? 😛 Anyway, back to the update..

Had my last Wednesday of the month dinner w/ Terri tonight.. Always a good time. She’s such a great friend and person. So easy to have 2 hours fly by w/out even realizing it.. Thanks, Terri!

Also met up w/ my friend Miranda for a bike ride tonight.. Our rides are so much fun, work up a good cardio, good time w/ someone who is extremely similar to myself.. What’s not to enjoy? lol.. Thanks, Miranda!

Here’s a Bridgetism story from the past that my girl friend & I were talking about again recently… Thought some of you might enjoy 😉
So shortly after getting my Ford Escape, 2 years ago in December, I made a quick stop at the grocery store. It was most likely over the lunch hour or after work, so I was in a rush.. After speeding through the grocery store, I head out to the car. After hitting the unlock button on the remote, I open the door and climb in.. Threw the bags on the seat and felt myself fall way back into the drivers seat. I’m thinking, “Why in the world did I move my seat back so far?” Still confused, I go to put my purse in the passenger seat only to look down and realize that there’s a bunch of miscellaneous things in the cup holders and console that I have no idea what or where they came from. Finally at that point, I realize, that I’m in someone else’s car!! So not only did I “try” to unlock or get in the wrong car, I was IN the wrong car, with the door closed and my stuff sat down, the works! As soon as I realized what had happened, I scurried to get out, obviously in fear that the real owner of the car would exit the store to find me.. I quickly grabbed up my things and got out of the stranger’s car and found mine to be literally parked in front of it facing it nose to nose (duh).. No sooner had I gotten in my OWN car, the owner strolled out and hopped in his car. Man oh mighty, if he’d only known what had transpired just moments before! haha.. I think the even dumber part of the story, is that it wasn’t even an Escape! However it was white, it was a Grand Cherokee… lol..

Kaylor is turning 6 next week.. I’m sure this isn’t news to most. I just can’t believe that it has been an entire 6 years ago, that I was unexpectedly blessed by God’s grace, with this sweet, precious baby girl. Really seems like just yesterday, but filled with so many wonderful memories to go along w/ the just yesterday feeling.. She has grown into a sassy, quick witted, bold, independent, bubbly little girl, and I just love her to pieces. I’m so proud of her! She asked for her own Bible last week, so I got one for her. She loves it and even told me that she was on page 8 the other day.. haha.. Yes, she can read some, but obviously not every word that is written.. She asked to read last night, so I asked what part she wanted to start at and her reply was “Let’s start at the beginning!” So that’s exactly what we did.. She was very attentive and asked questions and answered when asked. I even gave her a “pop quiz” this morning about what we had read, and she really grasped exactly what we had read & talked over. It was an extremely special moment laying w/ her in her bed, snuggled up and reading the word of the Lord. Very special..

On another Kaylor note… she has now lost her 3rd tooth, but very first TOP front one… What a difference it makes her smile, that’s for sure! (Note to self.. the Toothfairy MUST visit Anyway, here is the usual before & after picture.. The before shot was action taken about 10 days ago, when she was positive it was ready to come out… Turns out, that wasn’t quite the case..

This week’s wedding tasks have been to figure out measurements for how much tulle I will need to order, selecting the girls’ gifts, and also making menu choices.. I think we’re almost there!

Couple pics to share… Hope you enjoy, Meaghan!..

Technically wrong in so many ways, but this was snapped tonight as well…Thank you Meaghan for the sweet goodie bag!
