Whoa, June 3rd! Hard to believe we’re already into the 6th month of the year… (I know I say that about what date it is all the time!) But that means, my “baby” is almost 6 and that also means, the wedding will be soon! Eeek! lol.. j/k…
Busy, busy weekend for us.. Friday fought another bad migraine all day/evening.. after a small scare w/ an up’d dosage of Imitrex and a nap, I felt great!! Visited w/ D & B for a bit that night.. Saturday Erik & I had another couple’s workshop to complete. We’re now “qualified” to get married by the church! hehe Today was an emotional day at church.. Our senior pastor has officially retired, and our new pastor is taking over.. I’ve attended Eastview for almost 3 years now, and a member since Jan. 05′, so I’ve seen the transition before my eyes, and this new journey begins.. More great things to come though, I know it!
Also busy around the house today!… Our kitchen is currently a disaster zone… well, and our living room too.. The process of tearing up boring, cheap linoleum has begun and replacing it will be either ceramic tile or wood flooring… we haven’t decided.. I’ll try and keep up on our progress for ya…
In the meantime, I was getting some projects done myself… I’ve had a trunk that was nasty and covered in an old cream colored plastic that I reupholstered myself… (see pic below) I think it turned out quiet nicely! I also made myself a new backdrop! Who knew what buying some fabric and some dye could do =) And what do you do when you have no subject to pose & your 5 year old is getting out of the tub? You use your cat! haha
