  • Welcome!…

to “A Step Inside”… our personal family blog, documenting the craziness of our every day life.. Sit back, enjoy, laugh, and share in the road we travel..

I'm Bridget.. A SAHM (stay at home mom), mother of 3, and a follower of Christ. I'm also a photographer, and passionate about life.. I hope to share that w/ you too! Life isn't always perfect, but it's perfectly created in His plan. I'm beyond thankful for God's grace and His many blessings!

Monday, March 12th…

Hmm.. seems I sure manage to hit the month mark on posting, eh? Whoops! Things have been so crazy around our parts.. Wedding planning & appointments & more planning.. but all in all really, things have been enjoyable, and going well! The date is coming close to being only 6 short months away.. we’re definitely getting more & more excited!

Big things are happening for us.. Erik’s business has picked up even more, and the poor guy can barely keep afloat! Bad place to be in right?.. Or as he would say, “Good problem to have”.. He’s definitely keeping plenty busy and working hard for his family. And I, am most definitely proud of his accomplishments, and strong ambition..
Among the “big things” is location/”home”.. Things are progressing for getting this house back on the market, and when it does, thing will get REALLY chaotic! We have chosen a lot just to the North-East of our current house, and after some major man power and the great builders of Central IL, we’ll have a brand new home! We’re more than thrilled at the thought of having our very first “own home” as we begin our marriage and continue adding to our family. I plan on taking photos of our adventure, so watch for those to come, hopefully this summer! =)
Moving on to my business.. things are going great! It’s picking up and I’m building more & more clientel.. they’re telling their friends and family, and I’m getting contacted more. Definitley excited about the endless possibilities, and can’t wait for the weather to warm up, so I can do some outdoor sessions. I have had the most adorable subjects to work w/ so far! Their cuteness & personality has been so much fun to capture!.. and to think this is only just the beginning.
Kaylor is still totally loving Kindergarten.. she actually gets a bit disappointed on Saturdays when she won’t be heading to school! She’s still continuing to broaden her spectum of words & reading.. trully amazes me that she is reading at age 5! Okay, okay, so it’s probably very common, but still amazing to see how quickly children absorb eduction. Ecouraging to say the least, and makes for very proud parents =)
