I had SUCH a great time w/ baby J and his parents… He could not be a happier, smiley, adorable 9 month old baby.  Truly brings joy to my heart and reminds me what photographing babies is all about..  What a blessing you have, Rob & Michelle!  :)

This newborn baby girl belongs to friends of mine.. She was such a calm, relaxed baby.  Didn’t sleep much throughout her session, but was so quiet and just took in all of her surroundings.  I got plenty of snuggle time w/ her  Thank you for sharing your precious angel w/ me, Ted & Nicki! 

I think she liked being in daddy’s arms… Her smile says it all!

Sometimes I am smitten by my clients… This baby boy?  Yep, him too… How can you resist big blue eyes, and gummy smiles?  I can’t, that’s for sure.. And check out his super cute tie.  Made by his mommy!  Love it!  Thanks for being such an awesome baby boy, H

His silly faces are hysterical!

This little guy is so stinking cute… It really seems like it was just yesterday when we did his newborn portraits.  I’m always so excited to see him and his sweet family.  He brings along his grandparents too.. Love them!  Mr. A, you have become THE most handsome, two year old, little boy.  I know you bring your family much joy!

This was the first time I got to meet baby L, and I knew she would be just as sweet as her mama & daddy.. I loved her big, gummy smiles!  You two sure have a cutie-pa-tootie.. Definitely a keeper

This little cutie, was super mobile..  You can see baby T as a newborn here.  I loved seeing her smiles, and curiosity.  So much fun w/ you, miss T & family!  :)

Miss M is a girl w/ personality for miles!  I loved her energy, and expressions.. And such amazing, big, brown eyes..  As I always say, it melts my heart when kids don’t want to leave at the end of their portrait sessions.. Don’t worry, M, I had fun too!  :)  Thanks, H family!

Baby I just celebrated his 1st birthday!  He’s steady, and standing, even taking a couple of steps too..  He’s another Baby’s 1st Year graduate.  (look for more of I here, and here)  His big brother J’s 3rd birthday is so close as well, that we did his three year portraits too.. These boys sure are a ball of energy, and fun!

My sweet niece is one!  Such a blessing, she is.. Happy 1st birthday, sweet pea!  ?

It’s so exciting and wonderful to continue to photograph former bride & grooms.  Mr. J is SUCH a sweet and energetic little boy.  He’s really grown since last fall.  I had a blast trying to keep up w/ his busy toddler self… he’s quick though!  So great to see you guys, M family.. Always a pleasure

Baby J is a Halloween baby… Seemed appropriate to include some pumpkins in at least one portrait.  Remember J as a newborn?  Look how much you’ve grown, J!  :)

These two girls had SUCH fun energy.. I loved playing photographing them!  What a sweet family.. M & T even allowed me to babysit their pets, so I had a bear & pig (stuffed, of course) riding along in my camera bag.  They said they weren’t ready to be finished at the end of their session.. Talk about making a photographers heart melt!  Thanks so much, gang!

Baby H was very interested in his newborn portrait session.. So interested that he made it almost an entire three hours, closing his eyes for only a few quick minutes of shut eye  Even awake though, he was super content & easy going.  Love having newborn babies in the studio!

A beautiful fall day, gorgeous park setting, and a good-looking family… What more could ya ask for!  At least, that’s what Iiii thought… What started out as a normal family portrait session, took a wonderful surprise towards the end…   (continued below… )

We had finished up doing group family shots, and were having fun doing some shots of Josh & Sandy, while Baby L sat nearby, intrigued by playing w/ any leaves w/in reach.  I was knelt down pulling some leaves from L’s hands when I looked up to see Sandy holding something in her hand.  My first thought was that she had dropped something, and picked it up, only to realize “Oh my goodness, he just proposed!”  Since I’ve known Sandy for 25+ years, I figured she would forgive me if I let baby girl munch on some leaves, just this one time, while I quickly picked back up clicking away at Sandy’s reaction to Josh’s proposal.  It was the sweetest thing, I had goosebumps!  Tears of joy filled Sandy’s eyes as she replied, “Thank you” to Josh.. hehe…  After  she regained her composure she quickly said YES!  What an awesome moment to be a part of, and even though you threw yourself for a surprise, Josh, thank you for allowing me to witness your special proposal to Sandy.  I wish you both a lifetime of love & happiness! 

It was great to meet not only the new parents of baby E, but also her grandmother and great-grandmother for a generations portrait.  You could easily tell that all three women are smitten by the joys of baby E.  Love it!  Lots of fun playing “dress up” w/ this baby girl.  I’m gonna go out on a limb and bet that she has a closet fulllll of pretty girl things just waiting for her  Thanks, L family!

I absolutely loved everything about this session… The weather was perfect, we had wonderful light, and such a beautiful family.  Miss I is a Baby’s 1st year graduate, and now at 18 months old, she’s still workin’ the camera  She even gave me hugs & kisses goodbye when we were all finished.. <LOVE!>  Many thanks, P family!

I had SO many laughs w/ this family, and 3yo miss M.. She is such a hoot, and full of personality!  I’m sure she will be a wonderful big sister to the new baby coming into this family.  Great to meet you guys, and I can’t wait to hear the news of baby’s arrival!

I have such a great time w/ this family… They always make me feel right at home.. (even licks from Colby the family dog!)  The A brothers are now 5, 3, and 1..  I love when families have their own personal settings in mind for family portraits.  Their ideas for this session could not have been better… a photographer’s dream w/ the locations.. Loved them!

Then it was time to strip down and head to the creek for some fun… I think that goal was accomplished..

I had so much fun w/ these two babies!  Baby E’s giggles were hysterical and had us all laughing.. And Miss M had just the sweetest smile ever..  What a wonderful portrait session.  Thanks so much, P family!  :)

When the R family told me a few months back that they wanted to book their family portrait session while the county fair was going on, so that we could do them there, I was stoked!  Um, yes, please!  I LOVE doing sessions at nontraditional locations.. I had so much fun w/ this, and I think they did as well… Thanks for a great time, R fam!

This precious angel is the new daughter of dear friends of ours.. I was so honored to be asked to capture her for her first portrait session.  She was a joy to work w/ and was just perfect.  We are so happy for you and your sweet blessing, G & G!

This entire family session for three sisters, their mother, and two children was full on laughter.  The. Entire. Time… I loved it!  They always say that laughter fuels the soul… Well, these gals will have plenty to last them for years to come  Thank you for allowing me to photograph your super fun family!

And just to make sure my props are adult appropriate too, the three sisters had to give my rocking horse, and kid stools a whirl… Yep, they passed!  They are adult-friendly!

When I was called to photograph this beautiful family, I was told it was a surprise for their mother’s 40th birthday.. I was so happy to provide my portrait services to celebrate her special day.  I LOVE when adult children do family portraits for their parent(s).. It truly is a gift that will keep on giving for years to come.  Memories are priceless!  Had a blast w/ all of you, Johnsons… Thank you for having GREAT energy!
