Our sweet, little boy has turned one year old.  He has brought so much joy into our lives over this past year.  What a blessing he is!  Happy 1st birthday, Rowen Zane!

I had SUCH a great time w/ baby J and his parents… He could not be a happier, smiley, adorable 9 month old baby.  Truly brings joy to my heart and reminds me what photographing babies is all about..  What a blessing you have, Rob & Michelle!  :)

This baby girl was all smiles & sweetness for her six month portraits.. I loved it!  It helped having her big sister around.  Baby L sure loved watching her..  A special bonus was getting big hugs & cuddles from big sister too… Thank you for being such a great, little model, L!   <click here to see newborn & 3 month sessions>

This newborn baby girl belongs to friends of mine.. She was such a calm, relaxed baby.  Didn’t sleep much throughout her session, but was so quiet and just took in all of her surroundings.  I got plenty of snuggle time w/ her  Thank you for sharing your precious angel w/ me, Ted & Nicki! 

I think she liked being in daddy’s arms… Her smile says it all!

Sometimes I am smitten by my clients… This baby boy?  Yep, him too… How can you resist big blue eyes, and gummy smiles?  I can’t, that’s for sure.. And check out his super cute tie.  Made by his mommy!  Love it!  Thanks for being such an awesome baby boy, H

His silly faces are hysterical!

This little guy is so stinking cute… It really seems like it was just yesterday when we did his newborn portraits.  I’m always so excited to see him and his sweet family.  He brings along his grandparents too.. Love them!  Mr. A, you have become THE most handsome, two year old, little boy.  I know you bring your family much joy!

Meet Miss Lucy… She is quite the special little girl.  Lucy’s parents are from the same small town area that I grew up in, and their sweet girl was diagnosed w/ cancer on 12/26 of 2010.  I was so excited to meet Lucy and do some “Hope” portraits for her.  She is now four and striving!  Lucy is one of those little girls that you meet, and instantly fall in love.  I’d like to say we’re good pals.. She had me laughing, that’s for sure!  Thank you for being a GREAT poser, and model, Miss Lucy!  What a funny, silly, smart, and lovable little girl you are

Gah, he’s almost one!  This mama is trying to accept the reality of my baby boy’s 1st birthday quickly approaching.  We did a mini-shoot, White Sox baseball style..  His little grin, teeth all galore smile just melts my heart.. Love you so much, Rowen Zane!

This was the first time I got to meet baby L, and I knew she would be just as sweet as her mama & daddy.. I loved her big, gummy smiles!  You two sure have a cutie-pa-tootie.. Definitely a keeper

This little cutie, was super mobile..  You can see baby T as a newborn here.  I loved seeing her smiles, and curiosity.  So much fun w/ you, miss T & family!  :)

I always tell parents when preparing for their baby’s 3 month portrait session, that it can be very hit or miss at that age.  Even though they may show you lots of smiles at home, often times they become very stoic when in the studio, cute, regardless though.  Baby B could not have hammed it up more if he tried.. LOTS of baby smiles, and he had so much to tell me about.. Baby coo’ing ranks right up there in my list of “things that are absolutely priceless”

Wow, one year w/ this baby girl has flown by!  She has been such a joy to watch & photograph… You can see baby B as a newborn, 3 mos, 6 mos & 9 mos here..  I’m sure B is bringing her mommy & daddy tons of love & happiness.. Happy birthday, B!

Since it’s the holidays and all, I just had to do it… I know my baby boy, won’t be a baby for much longer…

This is the E family, and also dear friends of ours…  Beautiful mama is also a fellow photographer.  I was honored to photograph their beautiful family w/ their newest miracle, baby C.  Big brother is so proud of his baby sister.. so sweet!  Love you guys, E fam!

One word to describe this cute little guy…. FAST!  He is on. the. go.  I love it… Regardless, his cuteness was still captured.. Wa-ha-ha, C…

A has turned FOUR!  You may remember from his 2nd & 3rd birthday, that his mama likes to have a specific item, then do pics w/ the number of that item for the age.

This was just the sweetest… A loves his “green”, his childhood lovie… SO cute!

Miss M is a girl w/ personality for miles!  I loved her energy, and expressions.. And such amazing, big, brown eyes..  As I always say, it melts my heart when kids don’t want to leave at the end of their portrait sessions.. Don’t worry, M, I had fun too!  :)  Thanks, H family!

Baby I just celebrated his 1st birthday!  He’s steady, and standing, even taking a couple of steps too..  He’s another Baby’s 1st Year graduate.  (look for more of I here, and here)  His big brother J’s 3rd birthday is so close as well, that we did his three year portraits too.. These boys sure are a ball of energy, and fun!

It’s so exciting and wonderful to continue to photograph former bride & grooms.  Mr. J is SUCH a sweet and energetic little boy.  He’s really grown since last fall.  I had a blast trying to keep up w/ his busy toddler self… he’s quick though!  So great to see you guys, M family.. Always a pleasure

Baby J is a Halloween baby… Seemed appropriate to include some pumpkins in at least one portrait.  Remember J as a newborn?  Look how much you’ve grown, J!  :)

These two girls had SUCH fun energy.. I loved playing photographing them!  What a sweet family.. M & T even allowed me to babysit their pets, so I had a bear & pig (stuffed, of course) riding along in my camera bag.  They said they weren’t ready to be finished at the end of their session.. Talk about making a photographers heart melt!  Thanks so much, gang!

Baby H was very interested in his newborn portrait session.. So interested that he made it almost an entire three hours, closing his eyes for only a few quick minutes of shut eye  Even awake though, he was super content & easy going.  Love having newborn babies in the studio!

I seriously could have spent all afternoon w/ these two cuties (& their mama)… I had an absolute blast w/ them, and they have THE sweetest personalities.  I couldn’t help but be reminded what an awesome opportunity God has placed in my life to work w/ such great people.  Loved their outfits too!  Thanks so much, M family!

Little miss L sure has grown since her newborn session.  She has the biggest blue eyes.  She’s already learning the “don’t smile when the camera’s out” trick though.. As soon as it was put away, she was all smiles!  Still cute though, either way  Love the smile she shared when her mama had her though.. so sweet!

9 months, already?… Does it really have to be?  So bitter sweet!  This is one of my most favorite ages to not only photograph, but also as a mommy.  So many firsts, personality traits coming through, and lots of sweet snuggles.  I’ve always said that Rowen is such a happy baby, and very laid back, and he continues to be, now at 9 months old.  My heart is absolutely smitten by this baby boy.  Can you tell why?  :)
