I had so much fun w/ these two babies!  Baby E’s giggles were hysterical and had us all laughing.. And Miss M had just the sweetest smile ever..  What a wonderful portrait session.  Thanks so much, P family!  :)

When the R family told me a few months back that they wanted to book their family portrait session while the county fair was going on, so that we could do them there, I was stoked!  Um, yes, please!  I LOVE doing sessions at nontraditional locations.. I had so much fun w/ this, and I think they did as well… Thanks for a great time, R fam!

This entire family session for three sisters, their mother, and two children was full on laughter.  The. Entire. Time… I loved it!  They always say that laughter fuels the soul… Well, these gals will have plenty to last them for years to come  Thank you for allowing me to photograph your super fun family!

And just to make sure my props are adult appropriate too, the three sisters had to give my rocking horse, and kid stools a whirl… Yep, they passed!  They are adult-friendly!

I always love when I’m asked to do family portraits including the family pet.  That old phrase “pets are people too” comes into play every time I start thinking about the upcoming portrait session.  Miss Molly took some coaxing, but she was full of smiles & wet kisses for me (and my camera lens.. lol)  Great meeting you, B family & Molly!

And this one… Well, simply put, it makes me laugh!

Not having met the H family prior  to their portrait session, I was hoping I would be able to make it a fun experience, since I knew the ages of the kiddos and they were in the tween ages..  From the sounds of their laughter, and even one w/ the giggles, I think they had a teeny bit of fun  Thanks, H family!

It was so nice to see the M family again for their fall portraits… I enjoy them so much last year, and was thrilled to have them back again.  I loved seeing how much the kiddos have grown, and what great kiddos, and a fun family they are to work w/.  Lots of laughter, and the kids have the best light-hearted personalities.  Thanks for the laughs, M family!

So, so hard to believe this little guy is celebrating his very 1st birthday.. I think I may shed a tear of bittersweet joy right along w/ his mama!  I’ve absolutely loved seeing this family every 3 months and will miss their scheduled session visits.. Happy 1st birthday, Mr. R.. You are a super, fun, & sweet little boy!

It’s always fun to watch what reaction 1 year olds will have to their very first cake.. I’ve seen quite the range of likes to dislike, and watching Mr. R was too funny… He wasn’t so sure about it.. It tasted good, yes, but the icing felt very odd between his fingers.. Cute, all the same!

This little guy just cracks me up.. Do you remember how serious he was at his last session?  Too funny!  He brought some smiles w/ him this time though.. Such a little man & growing right along!  Great to see you, C family!

Mr. A sure is moving through his 1st year of portraits very quickly!  I know his mommy & daddy think so too…  Can we rewind back to his newborn?  Or 3 month, or even 6 month ages?  Sooooo cute!  We couldn’t of asked for a more perfect fall afternoon to do A’s 9 month portraits.. Not only was he in great spirits, as usual, he even showed me some of his dance moves.. And yes, even WITH my lovely crazy singing!  Whooot!  Thanks, L family!

I LOVE this!…

I love seeing the A family!  They have THE sweetest girls, and are such a delight to photograph.. Look how much the girls have grown from last year here..  Miss C even shared a milestone w/ me, as she learned how to snap yesterday!  Way to go, C!  And Miss L is just as delightful as always.. A ray of sunshine.. Thanks so much, A family!

I was excited to photograph this family and return the favor, since recently Rachael photographed my family too!  (thanks again, pal!)  The kiddos all did great, and the weather was nice.. Couldn’t ask for more!  I was hoping “the peaches” aka triplets would warm up to me, and little did I know that I would be covered w/ hugs by the end of their session.. Love it!  Thanks again, S family!

This little sweetie pie was all sorts of serious at the start her session.. I knew, however, that she really does have this expressive little grin in her..   We pulled out ALL the tricks, and sure enough.. We got it!  Thanks to her mama & daddy for helping out too!

To say I sorta fell in love w/ this little guy last night would be an understatement.. He is the newborn son of my bestest friend & they long awaited for his arrival.. He is just perfect in every way. I’m not sure what pep talk they gave him, pre-session, but it worked.. He slept the ENTIRE time, only briefly waking to peek at us.. Thank you for the honor of photographing your son, B & L! I love him to pieces!

These kiddos were so super sweet.. I’m sure you can tell my their genuine smiles!  Miss M was just as charming as she was last year when I saw her for her two year portraits.. Now at three, she can even spell her first AND last name.. Very impressive!  And her baby brother had his smiles ready to go too.. Love it!  Thanks so much, Y family!

The A family wanted to use their parent’s farm for their portrait session.. I thought it was a great idea, and I love when people incorporate places & settings that are personal to them.  The boys had a great time, just as if it were any other day at grandma & grandpa’s farm.. Well, aside from the having to be pulled away from the tractors for family pics here & there   Thanks so much, A family!

Let me introduce you to Mr. serious… or I mean, baby C..   I think there something about a camera that often has hidden code to babies that says “Now, she holds this up, show her your most serious faces”.. Lucky for us, babies are too sweet regardless.. You’re not foolin’ me, baby C, I know you’ve got smiles in there.. Good to meet you, C family =)

This little guy has been coming to see me for portraits from his very beginning.. It’s been such a joy watching him go from newborn baby to full blow toddler..  I’m trying to figure out at what point he stops getting more & more cute each time I see him!  lol  He’s fast now, but I think we got some great shots of you, Mr. S.. The F family could not be any sweeter!  I love seeing them, and I’m pretty sure at a quick glance, you can hear Mr.A’s laughs & giggles through the portraits.. hehe.. So fun!  Happy 2nd birthday, A!  A is super into trains right now, so I think it’s great to incorporate into his 2 year portraits.. When your children love something, bring it along!  It really shows “them” at the ages & stages they are at..

I was so excited to hear that baby A had made her arrival into the world.. When baby A came for her session, she was so excited & entertained by what was going on, she didn’t want to sleep!  lol  This is the part where I personally feel spoiled, because while I’m working, I get to cuddle a newborn baby!  Hmm… twist my arm, right? hehe  We actually had to split baby A’s newborn session into two parts to get her to sleep, but this happens sometime!  I think it was worth the time & effort, and I hope mom & dad think so too.. It was great to meet you N & D, and I fell in love w/ your baby A in those 4 hours =)

It’s hard to believe we are 9 months into baby R’s “Baby’s 1st Year” plan..  I absolutely love seeing babies throughout their first year.. It’s quite amazing to see them change so much.. Baby R has been a charmer since his newborn session, and didn’t disappoint for his 9 month

Oh, Mr. A… I had so, so much fun w/ this little guy & his family at their session.. If only I could bottle up his belly laughs & giggles, it would be a cure all.  They were absolutely priceless!  Mr. A was a bit more serious at his 3 month session, but just as sweet as he ever was at his newborn session… Great to see you, L family!

I love helping to celebrate 1st birthdays!  Such a fun age… Miss E has been visiting me since she was 3 months, then 6, then 9, and now she’s ONE!  It was definitely a hot & humid one for her session, but she hung in there, and mom & dad were great sports too.  Thanks for a wonderful year, T family! =)

This family was such a gem to work w/.. Not only did the camera love them, but they were absolutely fun-loving & sweet to boot!  Mr. J just turned two, and look out all you toddlers.. He is a knockout!    Thanks for a wonderful session, even if it was nice & humid as all get out, L family! =)

Remember this gorgeous expecting mama?  Yep, her little guy just turned ONE!  He was a load of fun… He kept giving me hugs.. So sweet!  His mama told me that he wasn’t usually like that w/ people he’d not yet met, so my heart really swelled to hear that!  She also told me that he NEVER smiles when he has portraits done… I was ready for the challenge

Three months have quickly gone by since I last saw baby I for her newborn session.. She was a sweetie then, and full of expressions now.. Isn’t her hair do the cutest too?

And it just goes to prove that babies aren’t always game for what silly things we try doing w/ them for pictures… What do you think her caption should be?  “Are you serious?!?”  “Get me out of this”..or maybe, “Really?  This is not my cup of tea”… hehe

This was a fun morning session spent w/ the M family..  I loved the color choices they chose… Love it!  Mr. B has grown so much since I last saw him.. Quite the handsome little man, and I looooove his hair style!  I hope to have a boy someday to sport the mo hawk.. And B’s sister, Miss R is a ball of energetic sweetness.. So cute!   Thanks so much, M family.. It was so good to see you guys! =)

When first contacted, mom told me that she had boys, ages 4, 3, 3, and almost 1… I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when prepping for this portrait session, other than possibly needing to “pull out all the cards” in my silliness skills..  Silliness was still in play, but the moment I met this family, I fell in love w/ all the boys’ sweet smiles & many giggles.  What a great family!  I had so much fun running & playing w/ the boys during their session.. Thanks so much, D family!  =)

Baby S & her lovely family came back for a visit for her 3 month pictures.. She sure reminds me of her big sis when she was her age.. Remember Miss S from her newborn session?  Miss S was sleeping peacefully when she first arrived, so I got to snuggle her for a few minutes to finish up her nap.. She wasn’t too willing to show me her big gummy smiles, but she’s too cute regardless..

And just a little over a year ago…

The M family recently welcomed their third son into the world.. I was honored to see them a couple of months ago to capture their family of four… And now again to welcome baby C.  From the looks of it, he is fitting right in, and is receiving endless amounts of love

I couldn’t get over how much this little guy has grown up since I last saw him for his 3 month visit, let alone his newborn one too!  His big, blue eyes are just the best..  So good to see you again, H family!
