Last year, I had the pleasure of meeting & photographing one of the sweetest little girls. I knew before our session that Miss L has some special physical needs, so that I could be prepared for the session. She was born w/ Spina Bifida. From the moment I opened the door to meet Miss L and her mommy, she absolutely stole my heart. She is truly an incredible, sweet, silly, funny, and amazing child. We quickly forgot about her physical limitations, and were full of laughter, jokes, & silliness during her portrait session. I have been so honored to be a part of capturing Miss L, and meeting her family.
At this time, I would like to ask for your kind generosity. There is a local Spina Bifida group in Bloomington, IL that Miss L’s family has been able to a part of. The Spina Bifida Association of IL (SBAIL) has been a great network of support for their family throughout their journey. In February they are hosting an annual fundraiser, Candle Light Bowl. All money raised stays within the state organization and helps provide services such as financial help for braces, therapy, seminars, social events, scholarships, and family outreach.
