And sometimes it’s not always the planned shots that end up being one of my favorites.. I just love the interaction here between big brother & little brother.. Doesn’t it look like he’s telling him something like, “It’s alright little bro.. only a couple more pictures left to go, then we’ll get a treat!  Okay?”… hehe

During our visit to St. Louis, I had the privilege of not only meeting a friend that I “met” on a mommy board forum NINE years ago, I also got to photograph her beautiful family!  Amy Teets is not only a wonderful, beautiful woman, but she is also a fabulous scrapbook paper & product designer!  How cool is that?!   I know she’s blushing as she reads this, but she deserves props… go check her out!   I also admire Amy in many ways.  She is a military wife, and her husband is in the USMC, and often gone for periods at a time.  In honor of this family, and the hard work that her husband does for our country, for EVERY comment posted on this blog post, I will be donating to the USO.  It was SO great to meet you, Teets family and so much fun hanging out..  =)

I’ve been pondering some ideas for awhile now, I thought there’s no better place to ask pose these questions, than for YOU all! =)

I would like to start doing a feature part on the Imaginate Blog.  I would be interviewing some local vendors of all sorts and posting links to their information as well as Q&A’s for them.. I am a big fan of supporting locals in our community and I have been meeting some wonderful people in our area.  I would love to share their businesses & talents w/ you all too!  So here are a few items up for your input!

1)  What type of vendors would you be interested in seeing featured?  This can be of ANY category that you’re interested in!  Clothing & Apparel, Party Supplies, Cake Decorating, Children Items, Make-Up, Home Products, Homemade Jewelry, Pottery Items, etc…. you name it!

2) Know a local business that you would love to tell others about?  Submit their info to me for their chance to be featured on my blog!

Feel free to leave your comments here on the post, or e-mail/call me w/ your suggestions.  Looking forward to hearing from you fabulous blog readers =)

This little guy was on. the. go!   His mama said he had a message for me and it was “Run, run as fast as you can, you can’t catch me, I’m the Gingerbread man!”.. SOoo funny..  Little J was definitely on the go, but there was so much to see and do at our  photo session, so who could blame him?  It was definitely fun, and I love photographing him.. Thanks, H family!  =)

One year ago, I started photographing little miss M in her mama’s belly… Then I was on eggshells awaiting the call that she would be arriving so that I could dash to the hospital for her birth.  It was a moment that was absolutely incredible and a blessing to be a part of.  (Her mama even said I could share their slideshow, so I will do that next week in celebration of her 1st birthday) Always great to see you, B family.. =)

Here is Miss M when she was just born;

I could not wait to see Mr. T and how much he had been growing since his 3 month session.  The last time I saw him, he was full of smiles & cooing for me.. Although the leaves definitely caught his attention for this session, he still brought me some sweet, heart melting smiles.. Oh, Mr. T, I love your sweet personality!  And his mama was so kind to bring me cookies!  Yummm-O!  Thanks for the fall portrait session, C family!

I had so much fun working w/ Miss A and her mama!  It was a bit chilly for A’s session, but she rocked it and rocked it well! =)  I love her sweet, energetic, and easy going personality.. You really shine, Miss A.. I also enjoyed chatting w/ her mom, who I actually photographed as a bridesmaid last summer.. which neither of us realized until she was flipping through my wedding site! lol.. Thanks for the wonderful senior session & enjoy your sneak peek! =)

I had already met the P family mom, and Miss K for HS Senior portraits, so it was great to meet the rest of their gang.  Definitely had just as much fun w/ them all as I did w/ Miss K at her session.  And M, you still remind me so much of my little brother, so thanks for letting me get that “big sister must pick on lil bro” itch out of my system ;)   Thanks for the session, P family!
