I always look forward to my sessions w/ the A family.. Love seeing them, love watching the boys grow, and best of all, Mr. C even gives me snuggles! So, so sweet.. The A family decided to do some portraits at the Sugar Grove Nature Center. Such a beautiful location w/ so many options & gorgeous scenery.. Great call, A family! Thanks again for another great session =)
Meet Mr. K.. He is another 2010 HS Senior Rep for Imaginate Photography and was a pleasure to work w/. He really wanted to incorporate some items, places, etc. that were “him”.. My answer to that? Of course! I always encourage HS Seniors to do this, as I really think that it’s a great way to capture personality, hobbies, activities, etc. So way to go, K

I was so excited when I was asked to photograph Tyler & Leeann’s wedding… Leeann is the baby sister of a HS friend of mine. It was a bit drizzly & rainy on their wedding day, but I’m pretty sure there were rainbows all around.. We even found a quaint little place tucked under an awning for some outdoor photos. I would say the love in the air during their ceremony and vows, was everything but drizzly Congrats to you both, Tyler & Leeann, and a life full of happiness & rainbows =)
This little guy is cousin to another cutie pie here on the blog.. I was so excited to meet Mr. R and I think he was too! This little guy is ALL boy, and ready to go! It was hysterical seeing how much energy this 6 month old little guy has already.. He for sure will be keeping his mama & daddy & grandparents on their feet! Look out world, here comes Mr. R! Thanks for the visit, O family! =)

I’m gonna try and calm myself as I write this post.. lol.. A few weeks ago a client sent me a link that volunteers were needed for the Extreme Makeover Home Edition show that would be building for a family here in Central IL. I submitted my info and today I received a phone call from the company, Cybernautic, that is coordinating all of the press & media side of this project. I will be photographing all of the happenings during my shifts. I couldn’t have been more thrilled to receive this phone call, offering the opportunity. I did some shifting of schedules & sessions (THANK YOU to my great clients for understanding & being so flexible w/ me!) and everything has worked out for me to be able to do this.
This show is very special to my family & I. Often our Sunday nights are spent together in our living room to watch the show. You will typically find both myself & my husband, Erik, w/ tears streaming down our cheeks as our hearts are heavy for the families that are featured. It’s truly an honor and a blessing, that I can be a part of something so fantastic, and volunteering just my small part to help change a family’s life.
My scheduled times are Saturday, Aug 22nd from 6pm-10p; Sunday, Aug 23rd from 4pm-?; and Monday Aug. 24th from 6pm-?Preview

I was contacted recently to do some portrait work for Station 710 Salon. I’m so excited to work w/ the staff there.. I welcome the challenge and look forward to the portrait shoot soon w/ their clients. If you stop by there for a visit and some fun pampering, tell them Bridget w/ Imaginate sent you! I know I have some portrait clients that are already clients of the Studio 710 Salon, and they LOVE it!

I know Mr. S’s mama is anxiously awaiting her sneak peek on the blog.. Viola, L, here it is =) As always, Mr. S never ceases to be huggable, lovable, smoochable.. All those sweet tokens a baby is made of.. This portrait session she chose to visit Miller Park. I was so glad to hear that she wanted to have an outdoor session for baby S.. Can we say cutie?
