Ashlyn loved learning the songs to prepare for this spring program.. Disney! Even little brother knew all the lyrics and hand movements from watching her practice.

Happy double digits, Ashlyn Ray Emilie! We always say you’re still a peanut, so it’s hard to believe you are a whole 10 years old. You currently love everything unicorn, crafting, learning to crochet, anything artsy like painting, drawing or coloring, tie-dye, and you still enjoy tumbling… and making messes! 🙂 You are such a smart and creative, beautiful little girl. I hope you always dream big, and know that you really CAN do anything! I’m always amazed by the things that you do. Creating outfits from kleenex and tape, or cutting duct tape to make a phone case or wallet, love making things! Happiest birthday, my sweet girl. I love you to the moon and back!
Our boy is 8! So quickly another year has come & gone for our little man to be getting older. This has been a big year for him in school, as he has become quite the great reader. I love seeing him enjoying stories as he reads along now. Rowen loves being outside w/ friends, riding scooters, jumping on the trampoline, and is STILL asking when he’s getting a dirtbike 🙂 He has loved learning everything he can about foxes this last year. He’s always asking questions, and telling me what they eat, where they live, etc. So, a fox themed party is what he requested.
Sometimes you have to switch over to a ninja to start opening gifts..
These two are such goofs… You can see in the sequence of images that the train derailed very quickly 🙂
It definitely feels like winter is in full force around here!… The little kids are super excited, but this mama isn’t quite ready for the cold!
